Project Overview

The AOPSI Redesign Steering Committee guides the delivery of an updated AOPSI in alignment with the direction of BC First Nations Chiefs (as expressed through resolutions of the First Nations Summit, BC Assembly of First Nations, and Union of BC Indian Chiefs) alongside the mandate of the Our Children Our Way Society - Indigenous Child and Family Services Directors, to reflect today’s legislative landscape and honour the inherent rights of First Nations, Inuit and Métis children and youth to grow up safe, loved, nurtured, and deeply rooted in the strengths of their families, communities, cultures, and Nations.
